Schedules and fares shift seasonally and there is no unified live feed. The cadences below are conservative averages — verify with the operator before traveling.

Red Hook (STT) ↔ Cruz Bay (STJ)

The workhorse passenger ferry between Saint Thomas’ east end and the gateway to Saint John. Most travelers heading to St. John take this one.

Charlotte Amalie (STT) ↔ Cruz Bay (STJ)

Slower scenic crossing from downtown Charlotte Amalie. Useful if you’re staying in Charlotte Amalie and don’t want to taxi to Red Hook.

Car barge — Red Hook (STT) ↔ Enighed Pond (STJ)

Vehicle barges for taking your car to Saint John. Two operators — Love City Car Ferries and Boyson, Inc. — alternate sailings on the hour. Useful if you’re bringing a rental jeep across or hauling supplies.

Short hop to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. Departs from the Crown Bay marina, just west of Charlotte Amalie.
